Our web platform promotes over 10,000 jobs each month and empowers some of the India’s leading companies to recruit the very best staff they need. Our services are business centric and as such our collection and processing of candidate personal data is in regard to the fulfilment of our business aims.

We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that very seriously. This Privacy Notice describes Jobscite policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognise that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

How we collect and use (process) your personal information

1 - Personal information you give to us:

A. Corporate Customers

When you become a customer of Jobscite , we collect information about you including (but not limited to) your name, your employer’s name, your work address (including your country location), telephone number and your email address.

We process your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulations Article (6)(b) in order to provide you with the product / service you have purchased, undertake standard business functions such as billing, and to inform you of relevant events, content, and other benefits or opportunities. Jobscite may also process this information under the General Data Protection Regulations Article (6)(f) to help us understand our customers’ needs and interests, to better tailor our products and services to meet those needs.

Registered Users – Candidates

When you become a registered user of Jobscite.co.uk, we collect information about you including (but not limited to) your name, your location, your email address and a copy of your CV.

We process your personal information under the General Data Protection Regulations Article (6)(b) in order to provide you with the recruitment service you have requested. We will also process this information to undertake standard business functions such to inform you of relevant events, content, and other benefits or related opportunities. Jobscite may also process this information under the General Data Protection Regulations Article (6)(f) to help us understand our customers’ needs and interests, to better tailor our products and services to meet those needs.

B. Publications and Subscriptions

Jobscite offers a great deal of content on our website. In addition to producing original content, Jobscite also subscribes to news feeds and blogs produced by others, which we often link to from our website. This means you may find yourself on the Jobscite website or reading an email from Jobscite and we will offer you a link to another organization’s website where you will find content that we feel will be relevant and useful to you. At these times, you will be leaving the Jobscite website. Jobscite is not responsible or liable for content provided by these third-party websites or personal information they may happen to gather from you.

You may manage your subscriptions to Jobscite newsletters by subscribing or unsubscribing at any time. You can also log into your account and change preferences at any time. Jobscite uses Google Analytics to track how often people gain access to or read our content. We use this information in the aggregate to understand what content our customers find useful or interesting, so we can produce the most valuable content and services to meet your needs.

Jobscite processes your data to provide you or the company you work for, with the goods or services you have requested or purchased from us. We use this information to refine our goods and services to better tailor them to your needs and to communicate with you about other related services we offer that may assist your job hunting or your business.

3 - What happens if you don’t give us your data

You can enjoy much of the information on our website without giving us your personal data. Some personal information is necessary so that Jobscite can supply you with the recruitment services you have purchased or requested.. You may manage your Jobscite account online and you may opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time.

Use of the Jobscite Website

As is true of most other websites, Jobscite website collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of our website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. When and how we share information with others

Registered Candidates:

When you register with Jobscite we create an account for you and store your data in one of our servers. When you upload your CV, this too is processed and maintained in association with your account in one of our grlobal servers. We will process your CV for the purpose of rendering it searchable by our clients, who engage with us for the purpose of recruiting staff.

Corporate Clients:

As a client of Jobscite we create an account for you and store your data in our servers which are located across the globe

In both cases:

We do not otherwise reveal your personal data to third-parties for their independent use unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) it’s in connection with the recruitment services of Jobscite ; (3) the information is provided to comply with the law (for example, to comply with a search warrant, subpoena or court order), enforce an agreement we have with you, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; (4) the information is provided to our agents, vendors or service providers who perform functions on our behalf; (5) to address emergencies or acts of God; or (6) to address disputes, claims, or to persons demonstrating legal authority to act on your behalf. We may also gather aggregated data about our customers and Site visitors and disclose the results of such aggregated (but not personally identifiable) information to our partners, service providers, advertisers and/or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

In the course of our business to help you search and get a job, Jobscite may make personal information available to third parties such as employers and recruiters.

The Jobscite website uses interfaces with social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others. If you choose to "like" or share information from the Jobscite website through these services, you should review the privacy policy of that service. If you are a member of a social media site, the interfaces may allow the social media site to connect your site visit to your personal data.

Transferring personal data across the world

Jobscite has its main servers in the USA. We also utilise the CRM services located in the United States to store information about our data which includes corporate and candidates. Information we collect from you will be processed in either the India or USA or anywhere in the world depending upon the product or service you have purchased from us or we are providing. The United States have not sought nor received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR. Jobscite relies on the USA Privacy Shield to govern the transfer of data to the USA. In particular, Jobscite collects and transfers to the USA personal data only: with your consent; to perform a contract with you; or to fulfil a compelling legitimate interest of Jobscite in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. Jobscite endeavours to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with Jobscite and the practices described in this Privacy Notice. Jobscite also minimizes the risk to your rights and freedoms by minimising the data that we collect and store about you.
